Sermons
The Unitarian Universalist (UU) practice and art of preaching is deeply rooted in a commitment to inclusivity, social justice, and the exploration of diverse spiritual truths. UU preaching emphasizes the importance of personal experience and the integration of various religious traditions, allowing preachers to draw from a rich tapestry of insights, stories, and philosophies. I hope my sermons often engage congregants intellectually and emotionally, encouraging reflection and dialogue on contemporary issues, ethical concerns, and personal growth. Here, you will find representations of sermons throughout my 20 years of ministry. Not one is perfect; all were written for a specific moment in time and place. Every future sermon will draw from my evolving quest for knowledge and understanding about life.
