Growing Church Community

Inclusivity and Respect
Inclusivity fosters an environment where people feel welcome, seen, and supported, which is critical for building a strong, thriving congregation. A growing church community, from a UU perspective, is one that reflects this openness and actively works to embrace people from all walks of life.
Shared Purpose
When members come together to work toward common goals—whether those goals are related to environmental sustainability, racial justice, or fostering community connections or just having fun—the collective energy strengthens the church and invites others from the wider community to join in.
Inspiration and Ideas
Sharing our Unitarian Universalist beliefs widely is crucial for the growth of our faith. By speaking our truth widely and engaging with people out side our congregation by publishing thoughtful editorials, having a social media presence, and speaking up when needed we can deepen our UU impact in the community. Living our values in the community is not only a way to grow in numbers but also to enrich our church's depth and impact in the world
Deeds
As a UU Minister, I embrace a faith that is inclusive and action-oriented rather than evangelical. Our community draws people in through the positive impact we make in the world. It's the good we do—supporting one another advocating for change—that resonates with those seeking a meaningful spiritual connection. By making the world a better place, we create a welcoming space where everyone can explore their beliefs and find purpose in service to others.
